The Faculty of Theology in the Jubilee of Mercy

Abstract

The celebration of the Centennial and the fifty years of the closing of the Second Vatican Council, was an important moment in the history of our Faculty. But the central event, which will theologi- cally inspire the life of our Faculty throughout this year, is undoubtedly the call of Francis to celebrate a Jubilee consecrated to Mercy. And I am not mistaken in saying that the invitation will find wide echo in the hearts and minds of each and every one of us in this ecclesial educational community: teachers, students, administrators and faculty members.
