Abstract

This article, written in occasion of the Latin American bicentennial anniversaries, is concerned with the interpretation by Rafael Tello of the history of our evangelization. According to him, this evangelization constitutes the kern of the Christian identity of popular Christianity, which he summarizes as love of freedom and human dignity. The present work offers a dynamic approach to the main categories of reflection of this author whose thought is in the first step of its reception.
